Isaiah 46:9

A Beautiful Story of Creation and Salvation

There is an all-powerful and eternal God, known as Almighty God — the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. The only true authoritative God, who is merciful, gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth. He is known by many names, I Am That I Am (Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh), The Lord Who Hears (Adonai Yishma), God Who Sees (El Ro’i), God Almighty (El Shaddai). He is the God of Abraham (Avraham), Isaac (Yitz’chak) and Jacob (Ya’akov).

Revelation 22:13, Colossians 1:16-17, Jeremiah 10:10, Exodus 34:6, 3:14, Jeremiah 29:12-13, Genesis 16:13, 17:1, Exodus 3:15

The Beginning…

One day, the One True God, who is the Creator of all things and loves beauty and variety, desired to create a planet. In a breathtaking display of His power and creativity, he formed heaven and earth in six days. He created the blue skies and the warm sun to light the day, and the moon and stars to illuminate the night. He crafted the steady winds, the flowing streams, and all kinds of animal species, each a masterpiece of His design.

Genesis 1

Before the earth was formed, God created innumerable angels to fulfill His divine will and purpose. One particular angel, an anointed cherub named lucifer (helel, the morning star), was created by God to have wisdom and perfect beauty. This angel became prideful because of his features and status and wanted to become God himself. He chose to rebel against God and attempted to overthrow the Holy One of Israel (K’dosh Yisra’el) by leading a coup in Heaven, and deceiving and persuading other angels to follow him.

Revelation 5:11, Psalm 103:20, Ezekiel 28:12-17, Isaiah 14:12-15

God Almighty, who is Supreme and all-powerful, is confident in His strength. He acknowledges that no one is fierce enough to challenge or overthrow His Sovereignty. As a result of this wicked angel’s rebellion, God swiftly threw lucifer and his followers out of Heaven down to Earth, like a flash of lightning.

Deuteronomy 10:17, Luke 10:18, Revelation 12:7-9

God desired to be a Heavenly Father and create sons and daughters who would reflect His own divine likeness. He desired to teach them to walk in His ways and pass down His instructions to generations. On a particular day, God decided to form a man from the dust of the ground and call him Adam. God placed Adam in the Garden of Eden to live and work. He commanded Adam not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If Adam did eat from this tree, he would die.

Genesis 1:27, 2:7, 15-17, Joel 1:3

God demonstrated His love and showed compassion to Adam by blessing him with a wife, a companion to share his life journey with. One day, God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep. As he slept, God with all His unlimited power, delicately removed a rib from Adam and formed a woman, and Adam called her Eve. God gave Adam and Eve authority to rule over the earth, to bear children and multiply its population. God’s plan was for the human race to live in the Garden of Eden forever and enjoy a personal and intimate relationship with Him.

Genesis 1:28, 2:21-23, 3:20

Rebellion…

Adam and Eve faithfully obeyed God and lived a peaceful life in the Garden of Eden, until this wicked fallen angel, now known as satan (or the devil, deceiver, serpent, tempter, adversary, enemy), who was still enraged at his defeat for being thrown out of Heaven, devised an evil plan to get back at God. This wicked fallen angel schemed to gain power over the human race and the earth God created. He was aware that God warned Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

One day, this wicked fallen angel slithered to Eve in the form of a talking serpent and lied to her. He said to Eve that she would not die if she ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Instead, her eyes would be opened to understand the nature of good and evil. The wicked fallen angel deceived Eve into doubting God's word with the intention of causing her to sin against Him.

Eve had free will to choose between obeying God or listening to the wicked fallen angel. She ultimately fell into temptation to worldly desires to gain knowledge and rebelled against God. Eve rejected God’s authority and ate from the forbidden tree, and shared it with her husband, Adam. Once Adam ate the forbidden fruit, all dominion and power he had on earth was transferred to the wicked fallen angel.

Genesis 3:1-6, Luke 4:5-7, 1 john 2:15-17

God was aware that the wicked fallen angel lied to Eve and Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. God was angry and placed a curse on all three of them. The wicked fallen angel for inciting Adam and Eve to disobey Him, and Adam and Eve for listening to the wicked fallen angel’s lies. Adam and Eve’s life was now cursed with hardship due to their disobedience, causing separation between them and God. The curse caused sin, a violation against God’s laws, to enter the earth’s atmosphere and now death ruled instead of God’s originally plan for the human race to live forever.

Genesis 3:11-19, Isaiah 59:2, Romans 5:12

The wicked fallen angel wanders the earth, looking for individuals he can kill, steal from, and destroy. He pretends to be an angel of light to deceive people, lead them astray, and create obstacles in their lives. God Almighty, in His infinite wisdom, had a rescue plan to restore power to humanity and deliver them from the control of the wicked fallen angel.

1 Peter 5:8, 2 Corinthians 11:14, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Isaiah 53

Deliverance…

God sent His only begotten Son, Yeshua (Jesus) to the world to testify of the truth, heal the sick, and proclaim the Good News of God’s plan of redemption for humanity, offering freedom from the bondage of sin and death.

Yeshua was born of a virgin birth, baptized at the age of 30, and received the Holy Spirit, which empowered him to fulfill God's divine will and purpose. Yeshua was innocent and perfect, yet he willing chose to carry the weight of sin on the cross, by shedding his innocent blood. He died, was buried, rose on the third day, and ascended to Heaven. He voluntarily sacrificed His life to save humanity, ensuring that all who believe in him as the Messiah will receive eternal life.

John 3:16, Luke 1:26-38, Matthew 1:18-25, John 1:14, John 1:29-34, Luke 4:18-19, John 12:44-50, John 18:37, Mark 10:45, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8, Philippians 2:9-11, 2 Corinthians 5:21

End Times and New Beginnings…

Yeshua promised that He would return to judge the world and condemn those who do evil. He would separate the ones who believe in him from those who do not. Once the wicked fallen angel is defeated and thrown into the lake of fire (hell) for all time, God will create a new heaven and a new earth for believers in Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ). They will live eternally with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, forever.

John 5:22–23, Revelation 20:11–15, Revelation 21:1, John 11:25

Waiting for Yeshua’s Return…

Yeshua instructed believers to share the gospel, make disciples, baptize in his name, and observe and teach what he commanded. We are to rejoice in God Almighty for our salvation through His son Yeshua, we are to rejoice in Yeshua for redeeming our lives from death, and we are to rejoice in Yeshua for his return to rule and reign. We are to rejoice in Yeshua always.
